Problematic skincare guide by Rubina Ratnakar

Problematic skin refers to the skin that is suffering from acne, pimples, rashes, or any other kind of problem that is temporary in nature but the person has been experiencing for a long time. Problematic skin care should not be mixed up with using products for a particular type of skin, say dry skincare products. To make your skin better, Rubina Ratnakar lists some tips for people with problematic skin.

One of the most common problems with the skin is pimples. You may be tired of having pimples on your face and once they go away, you would be irritated with the marks they leave. Not all pimples leave marks. Only the ones that are popped by you leave a mark on your face. So, the first thing you should be doing is to not pop your pimple as soon as you see it. Let it go away naturally or use some kind of gel to get rid of it.

Another thing you should not do is touching your face all the time. Touching your face where the skin is damaged or suffering some problem and then touching the space without that problem will lead to spreading of it. For example, do not touch your pimples all the time.

Wash your face twice a day. This is necessary to keep your skin clean and avoid getting any kind of infection. Sweat is one of the factors that lead to acne and other skin problems. You should clean your face as soon as you sweat.

Keep your skin moisturized. Choose moisture according to your skin keeping in mind the acne or pimples you have. The ingredients of the moisturizer should soothe your skin rather than elevating the problem.

Avoid using very hot water on your skin. It is one of the reasons your skin may be facing a problem.

Avoid using harsh products on your skin and use mild products for exfoliating and cleansing your skin.
